Subject: Another food experiment . . . I've been involved in a PROJECT for the last couple of days and didn't feel up to major cooking (nor washing the rice cooker). I thawed some (deli-bought) Teriyaki chicken wings this afternoon, but without the rice cooker, what to serve with the that's fast and easy? Standing an staring at the pantry shelves I spotted some Top Ramen. Can't stand the stuff, but I occasionally use the noodles in chicken salad & my grand kids love it. Anyway I boiled and drained the noodles, and ended up with Sort-of Vegetarian Chop Suey
Zapped a package of frozen stir-fry veggies for 4 minutes. That's it! (Zapped the wings during the moosh and stir phases.) Dinner in less than 10 minutes. It was good enough so that I'll probably do it again. Shalom, MimiDate: Tue, 22 Jun 2004 To: Anglican From: Mimi Bennett-Aronson |
