I offer the following: Sweet & Sour Spareribs
Most used Joy of Cooking Recipe (modified slightly)
Printer version of this recipe

Preheat oven to 350
Cut up 2 lbs spareribs
Parboil ribs 3-4 minutes
Brush with soy-sauce
Bake for 40 odd minutes

Brush with sauce:

Mix together:
1/2 cup vinegar
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup sherry
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon fresh ginger

add:
2 tsp. cornstarch
1 tbsp water

Cook until cornstarch mixture is transparent.

Pour sauce over the cooked spareribs & serve.

Good with: Shoe-Peg Corn Casserole
