spacer Snake Pie

I've found myself wondering about things that sound nothing at all like what they sound like, and with the talk of the St. Sam's cookbook I wonder - What recipes do we know that sound nothing like what they are, but still sound like food (ie not like Rocky Road).

As an example I like Snake Pie
Printer version of this recipe

Ingredients-
your favorite meat loaf recipe
1 lb (depends on thickness) ham slices
2 cups grated mozzarella

Place 3/4 of the meat loaf in rectangular cake pan spread over bottom and up the sides.
Cover meat loaf with ham slices
Put mozzarella on the ham leaving a 1-2" edge clear
Place ham over the cheese turning edges up, making a ham envelope
Spread the last 1/4 of the meat loaf mixture over the top making another "envelope"
Bake as your meat loaf recipie states.

Love It!!!
