Last night I inadvertently thawed a pound of salad shrimp.
The weather not right for shrimp salad - what to do?

In a 2 qt Pyrex bowl in made a sauce I sometimes use with tortellini:
3/4 c milk
8 oz cream cheese, cubed

Zap 2 min & stir - Zap another 2 min & stir

Add A dash each of nutmeg & pepper
1/2 c parmesan cheese
(I was using my hand to measure & I think I got some extra in.)

Zap another 2 min & stir

Add about a Tbs of minced garlic
and the shrimp.

Zap a final 2 min.

In the meantime I'd cooked 12 oz generic *wide* noodles
I put about half of them away for another recipe & stirred the rest into the sauce.
It was REALLY good. 8-)
