spacer Sheila's Rum Balls

Greetings everyone...
Last night we made these - they are truly wonderful... Try them and enjoy...

Sheila's Rum Balls
Printer version of this recipe

1 pkg chocolate chips (or white chips if you prefer) melt these in the microwave - 30 second intervals, stir in between

When completely melted add 1/4 cup dairy sour cream Stir together ...

Now add the liquor... 2 tablespoons of anything you would like... I used rum (recipe calls for Amaretto)

Cool in the refrigerator until it is workable (It should be easy to roll but not be completely hard)

If you have a melon baller that would work... I wash my hands, remove the rings and go to it... Roll in powdered sugar 0r Christmas sprinkles or coconut...

Place in an airtight tin...

I place mine on tiny foil cups... And then they are either frozen or kept cool...

This morning my husband offered the Pastor at the church we are currently with rum balls...

Needless to say, we received an invitation for an evening get-together with me providing the rum balls I'm going to take him some rum balls. They have my daughter over at their house almost every weekend. Their son is her best friend...

To make sure we would keep some we froze one tin... The others were half gone by the time the second batch were completed...

Try and enjoy!
Sheila
