Just as well: I don't need to _eat_ a whole batch of them on my own! I'm (as usual) trying to _lose_ weight, which of course makes me especially hungry for chocolate myself. In case I don't get a round tuit this evening, either, it's basically a favorite brownie recipe which includes chocolate chips stirred into the batter (the "double") with the top of the batter dotted with raspberry preserves (I like Polaner's All-Fruit Seedless Red Raspberry) before going into the oven. I've also used a brownie recipe with raspberry-cream-cheese frosting. I may write either or both in detail at some point, hope I will, but these things have a habit of disappearing into Time if I don't do them right away, so this may be all, but at least I've done _something_ about it for List! ;^) From: Sibyl SmirlDate: Sat, 22 Jun 2002 Subject: Re: Barbara's Introduction |
