Greetings everyone...

We traditionally make this liqueur each Christmas -
it is a perennial favorite around here! We also use it to spike truffles (truly awesome) So here it is...

The Organist's Liqueur
Printer version of this recipe

1 cup Jamieson's Irish whiskey
1 pint whipping creme
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 tablespoon Hershey's chocolate syrup
1 tsp instant coffee

Blend together, chill and serve... You will never know it's not that expensive Brand!

Just a quick question I was interested in the 12th day of Christmas punch
How many cups is in a quart, and a pint? Anyone know?

In the US a cup is 8 fluid ozs. A pint is 16 fluid ozs. In the UK using Imperial standards a pint is 20 fluid oz. In both systems a quart is two pints and a gallon is four quarts. So, where did the recipe originate? Those four extra ozs. in the Imperial pint can make a big difference in some recipes. I'll leave the math up to you. Enjoy your punch.
