Recipe, please! Georgianna

Olive Balls
(on the order of sausage balls, not as greasy, lovely tangy taste of olives)
Printer version of this recipe

1 c. shredded cheddar cheese (about 4 oz.)
1/4 c. margarine, softened
1/4 tsp. worcestershire sauce
1 c. biscuit baking mix
1 5 oz. jar pimento-stuffed olives

Preheat oven to 400°.
Mix cheese, margarine and worcestershire sauce.
Mix in baking mix until dough forms, working with hands.
Pat olives completely dry on paper towel.
Shape 1 teaspoon of dough around each olive.
Bake on lightly greased cookie sheet about 10 minutes, until light golden brown.
Makes about 45.

(Bishop Johnson devoured these by the handful in May '97 and May '99.)

Bonus Recipe; the closely-related Broccoli Balls   -- not as tangy, but also quite nice.

Faithfully,
Michael
