Well, y'all made me do it - I made some sort of Spanish/Mexican/Murrican rice for supper tonight.

Spanish/Mexican/Murrican rice

Serving for one hongry/two regular folk:

1 cup rice (you choose)
1 cup water
1 tbsp butter

Bring to boil.

Add:
1/4 cup diced onion
2 cloves (garlic) mushed
1 Can Rotel tomatoes, extra hot
1 can LaSeur early peas, drained
couple of shakes of Tabasco
1 tsp chili powder
couple grinds of black pepper

cook till all moisture absorbed

eat
