spacer Mexican Remedy

In looking through Diana Kennedy's book "Nothing Fancy" last night I came across a nostrum which I believe some of you will wish to know about. It is easy to make.

Mexican Remedy
Printer version of this recipe

Take two cups of vodka and
one pound of garlic, broken into unpeeled cloves and lightly crushed.

Process vodka and garlic in a food processor using the metal blade until they form a coarse paste.
Put in a jar, cover, and let stand in a cool dark place for one month.
Strain the liquid into a bottle and discard the solids.

The dosage is 10 drops taken before breakfast.
The cure should take effect immediately, but may be repeated daily for as long as necessary.
This cures circulatory problems, internal parasites, and unwanted guests.
It does not cure bad breath.
