Mashed Potatoes

Mashed potatoes, boiled gently until cooked right through.
Mash througouly then add a good nob of butter.
Mash again over low heat until butter is totally absorbed.
Then add thick cream a little at a time, again over a low heat, mixing until the mix is light and fluffy.
You can add herbs, seasoning,or any other flavouring to your taste.

Or once you get accustomed to the proportions, you can add the butter and milk all at once and mash all at once and get perfect consistency in half the time and before the potatoes get cold.

If you do this the potatoes may not mash properly, to a smooth consistancy, better to do them seperatly. By doing it over heat you evaporate remaing wather and keep the potatoes hot.
