spacer Creole Garlic Grits

Here's a use for quick - grits:

CREOLE GARLIC GRITS
Printer version of this recipe

1 cup 5-minute grits
4 cups water
6 strips or so of bacon
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 stick margarine
8 eggs

Cook grits, seasoned with 1 tsp salt for 5 minutes
Add garlic & stir.

Fry bacon till crisp and crumble up

Fry eggs in margarine however you like 'em

Flop 1/4 of the grits on a plate with a pat of margarine
Sprinkle with crumbled bacon and flop two eggs on top.

Serve with cat-head bisquits and gravy.

Should feed 4 hungry folk or more...
