spacer Chili Seasoning To Satisfy Miz Harris

Subject: To Satisfy Miz Harris (was: RECIPE: Chili - revisited)

...as if anything could:

In the interest of peace-making and good chilis:
In the afore-posted recipe Baked Chili with Cornmeal Crust, substitute an equivalent measure of the following for the offensive term "chili powder":

Chili Seasoning
Printer version of this recipe

1 teaspoon REALLY FRESH paprika
(there's stuff from Pakistan that's good if you can find it)
2 teaspoons good quality ground cumin
1 teaspoon fresh ground cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon mexican oregano
2 teaspoons garlic powder
2 teaspoons creole seasoning

alternative:

Buy a good quality crab boil and grind it up.

Store remainder in an airtight container.
