Here's Carol's recipe: Green Chili Potato Casserole - Carol's

I've prepared this in a slightly different manner:

Green Chili Potato Casserole - Jo's
Printer version of this recipe

2 lb. bag frozen hash browns
1 bunch green onions, chopped
2 cans Cream of Mushroom soup
16 oz. sour cream
1-1/2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
*lots* of salt and pepper
chopped jalapenos, as desired (I usually use at least 5-6 fresh, or an 8 oz. jar of prepared.)

Mix together and put in large baking dish.
Top with 2 cups of corn flakes mixed with 1/2 c. melted butter.
(Can be frozen at this point until ready to bake.)
If fresh, bake 45-50" at 350F
If frozen, bake 90-110" at 350F.

Next time, I plan to look up some of these different peppers I'm learning about in this thread.
