Recipe, please! Georgianna

Bonus Recipe; the closely-related broccoli edition -- not as tangy, but also quite nice.

Broccoli Balls
Printer version of this recipe

1 pkg. frozen chopped broccoli
1/4 c. margarine or butter (1/2 stick)
1 c. shredded cheddar cheese (about 4 oz.)
1/4 tsp. worcestershire sauce
1-1/2 c. biscuit baking mix

Preheat oven to 400°.
Cook broccoli till just tender; don't overcook. Drain.
Put pot back on hot burner and stir to dry up any remaining water.
Stir in butter.

Measure cheese into large mixing bowl, pour hot broccoli over cheese, sprinkle on the worcestershire sauce and mix.

Add biscuit baking mix and stir in completely.
Make small balls (about 3/4 to one inch) and space apart on lightly greased cookie sheets.
Bake about 12 - 14 minutes, until lightly browned.
Makes about 50.

Faithfully, Michael
