Turkey Gravy Hint from Molly

Paul Chiasson writes, of turkey gravy:
>> spiced, and mushrooms, onions, and some worcestershire or soya sauce
>> (take your pick as long as it's dark) added for colour.

Don't need that. 
Simmer your turkey or chicken stock with some of the yellow outside peel of onions. 
Does a wonderful job of adding colour (works for beef broth, too).
