St. Sam's and St. Bede's Recipe Pages Bon Appetit! --------------------------------------------- Tequila Grilled Salmon: 2 lbs salmon filets or steaks Juice of two limes (fresh) 2 oz of tequila 3 tablespoons of honey 2 teaspoons of soy sauce 3 cloves of garlic, crushed 2 quarter sized pieces of fresh ginger, grated Marinate for 30-45 minutes. Put on a medium hot grill, cover, cook until done to your taste, mine is rare in the middle for very fresh salmon. Do NOT move the fish around once you put it on the grill. The key elements for this recipe are, tequila, lime juice and honey. You can add or subtract any other ingredients that you like. ==--==--==-- Salmon is easy to grill and takes well to simple preparations, a splash of lemon juice, olive oil, salt and pepper. The KEY to grilling fish, like most foods, is to resist the temptation to keep moving it around, especially in the first few minutes. Fish will flake, meat won't sear properly, vegetables will turn mushy and lightning will strike your house and your significant other will run off with your bank account and some lawyer.
