St. Sam's and St. Bede's Recipe Pages Bon Appetit! --------------------------------------------- BLACK BEAN SOUP: 2 lbs cooked black beans 1 cup leeks (onions will do if you can't get fresh leeks) couplea three or so garlic cloves, minced 1/3 cup oil 1/2 cup water fresh ground pepper & salt to taste Saute leeks and garlic in oil until soft Mash about half the beans in a pot, add leeks, garlic, and everything else left Simmer till you're ready to eat it.
