St. Sam's and St. Bede's Recipe Pages Bon Appetit! --------------------------------------------- Generic Southeast Asian Broth 6 cups chicken broth, homemade or canned - reduced salt if I can get it. Slice of onion Couple of cloves of crushed garlic Stems from a bunch of cilantro (not the leaves) OR 1 tsp of coriander seeds Lemongrass OR several pieces of lemon or lime peel 1 tsp of whole black peppercorns About 1 inch of fresh ginger root, sliced Simmer all this together for about 15 minutes, strain the broth and throw away the seasonings.
