St. Sam's and St. Bede's Recipe Pages Bon Appetit! --------------------------------------------- CREAMED ONIONS: Dozen small white onion Stick of Margarine 8 tsp flour 1/2 lb sharp cheddar, grated 2 cups milk Salt, pepper, cayenne, etc. to taste paprika Bile the onions till fork-tender. Melt the margarine, add flour and stir till blended. Remove from heat, stir in milk and return to heat. Cook, stirring constiantly till thick and smooth. Add onions, cheese and seasoning.
