St. Sam's and St. Bede's Recipe Pages Bon Appetit! --------------------------------------------- Green Chili Potato Casserole - Carol's In a large bowl, mix together: 1 cup sour cream 2 cups shredded cheese (I use whatever I happen to have) 1 can cream of chicken soup 1 small container frozen chopped hot green chili (thawed) 1 medium onion chopped fine 1 stick margarine (melted) Stir in a 32 oz. bag of hash brown potatoes Pack the potato mixture tightly into a 9 x 12 inch glass or pottery baking dish. Sprinkle Italian seasoned bread crumbs over the top. Bake 1 ~ 1-1/4 hours at 350F. (I allow the extra time to adjust for our altitude.)
